110 CBRE runners raise €30,000 in Milan City Relay Marathon!

110 colleagues took part in an EMEA cross-border group charity challenge event on Sunday 12 April in Milan, Italy. Teams of four from every cross-border group across 12 countries completed the Milan City Relay Marathon in aid of our EMEA charity partner, Plan International. Funds raised now stand at €30,000!

Our 28 teams ran over 1,000km for this great cause, despite varying levels of athletic ability amongst participants, from the seasoned athlete to the novice jogger.

Alessandro Mazzanti, CEO - CBRE Italia
It was a fantastic weekend of sport, team building and networking. All in aid of our exciting EMEA partnership with Plan International which is helping to build a better future for over 135,000 children in Sierra Leone, particularly girls. Given the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, this work is even more urgent than ever before. Congratulations to all of the runners and thank you for taking part.

I would like to thank all of the CBRE participants who took part in the Milano Relay Marathon. It was a privilege to be with you on Friday at your networking event, and to meet such a committed and motivated team. I was very impressed by the deep understanding and involvement of CBRE across EMEA and Plan International, and thanks to your efforts children, and in particular girls, in Sierra Leone will benefit directly from your fundraising activities.
